@zhenya15 No, it either supplys the current and the pump runs or it doesn’t and the pump doesn’t run.
One thing, this is pretty much a waste of time to test a relay. They are interchangable. Find the relay for the starter in the same relay box and switch them. If it still starts, both relays are good, if it doesn’t start then the pump relay is bad. You can use a jumper wire on either location to get the vehicle started and to a parts store for a new relay.

True that the fuel pump takes a good amount of current, but not so much so that it necessarily warrants the need for a relay. The more modern purpose for a relay in line with the fuel system is to disengage power in case of an accident. The cars main computer is the link between that relay and the fuel pump.
If ever you inadvertently short + or – where it shouldn’t in this relay/computer connection and you can’t afford a new computer simply bypass to another key switched + temporarily.
