auto repair?

We have a 2000 saturn sc, unfortunately when we recently took it in to get the alignment fixed we found out that it has a bent frame and the alignment repair could not be completed. The tire shop suggested we take it to a body shop for repair. My husband had a bit of an oops on a patch of ice back in february and we had no idea the frame was bent because there wasn’t any body damage. We can’t claim it on insurance(long story). Can anyone give me an idea, just a ballpark figure of what this “might” cost to fix? I know it’ll depend on the extent of the damage but any ideas or experiences would be helpful. I don’t want to faint when we get our real repair estimate.
my insurance isn’t refussing to pay for it, we can’t file a claim because the car wasn’t on our policy at the timne, it was on my parents because they still legally owned the car at the time but its on ours now and we have the title. its just one of those situations
